A Legend is Hatched! Summer Homes, 2025!
At “price on request” there is truly no accounting for taste!
People are frequently surprised when I tell them that I like to stay informed about what’s happening with the economy. Everyone needs a hobby! And one doesn’t spend as much time at Bergdorf’s as I do without knowing a little something about debt.
Like many people, I am worried about the economy. Tariffs are concerning to me since I import all of my bath salts from Paris. And now there’s supposedly going to be a tariff on movies that are made outside of the US. As my imagination knows no boundaries, this is very confusing to me.
I decided it would probably be wise for me to evaluate the state of my money. After checking the markets—no ripe bananas—I decided I should head over to my bank and see what was happening there.
Some of you are probably surprised that I know where my bank is; so was the bank! To make a long story less of a legal liability, I next decided to take all of my money out of the bank, since I do not think they’re doing a good job taking care of it. For instance, they seem to have lost some of it. The bank manager told me money does not grow on trees—okay, so where does it grow?
This brought me to needing a new place to keep my money! I considered storing it in tea tins in the pantry, but to do that, I’d need to buy a lot of tea and that seems counterproductive.
So I have decided to keep my money where I can see it: in real estate. That way other people can see it too. As someone who is frequently told I have no boundaries, I think this is a wise financial decision for me.
(Some of you are probably thinking: Victoria, why don’t you use the money to fund one of these “movies” you’re always talking about? To which I say, “yes, but what about the distribution?”)
Thus it is time for my Summer 2025 Real Estate List!
Featuring homes around the world that are available for purchase. With the way things are going, why not buy them all? Because you just never know! And, remember: world wars start in the summer.

Victoria’s Summer Real Estate List 2025
*** This secluded cliffside house in Montauk was built in 1912 and has ocean views. During the 1950s it was visited by Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, and John F Kennedy meaning it’s a great place to go if you want to write a Broadway musical. If that isn’t enough to sell you on this property, this home is also mentioned frequently in Andy Warhol’s diaries. So grab your platinum blonde wig, and move on in!
*** For those looking for a project, look no further than this French estate in Normandy, which needs to be restored to its former glory. This property was a vacation home for Renoir and the setting for many of his paintings. Perfect for anyone who has ever lost a painting at auction and, rather than forget about it, decided to paint their own instead, since it would be just as good.
*** This Montecito mansion was built in 1917, making it historic for California. It promises “elegant and opulent adventures” and creates “an anthology of spaces celebrating art, conversation, and a life well lived.” This home is ideal for anyone who thinks the best way to make friends is by trapping them in your house and forcing them to make crudites boards with you.
